What Does a Staylighting Product Price Include? China Port Delivery, Freight Options & Certification
The price shown on every Staylighting product page is the product price with factory quality control, export packing and delivery to your designated China port included. International freight, customs clearance, import duties and local taxes are quoted separately because they vary by route, forwarder and destination. You may use your own freight forwarder, compare independent quotes, or ask us to provide a reference freight option before you decide.
This page explains exactly where the boundary sits, why we keep it there, and how to compare quotations without guesswork.
What the displayed product price includes
Every product page shows the discounted order price per piece and the minimum order quantity for that product. That number covers the work we control directly:
- The lighting fixture itself, built to the configuration shown on the product page.
- Factory quality control and pre-shipment inspection before packing.
- Export-grade packing, protection and palletising for international transit.
- Domestic delivery to the China port you nominate, such as Shenzhen, Shanghai or Ningbo.
Nothing in that list is added later as a surprise line item. When you compare one Staylighting product against another, you are comparing like for like on the same cost basis.
Why international freight and taxes are quoted separately
International freight, customs clearance, import duty, VAT or GST and broker fees change with route, season, carrier, cargo volume and destination country rules. Packaging those variable costs into a single displayed price would make the product price look higher and hide what the buyer is actually paying for.
Keeping them separate gives a purchaser three practical advantages. First, the product cost can be compared directly against other suppliers. Second, the logistics cost can be compared across forwarders on the same cargo details. Third, the responsibility for each stage is clear: we handle manufacture, inspection, packing and delivery to the port; the onward leg is arranged by the party the buyer chooses.
That is why the product price is not a partial price. It is a complete product and China-port delivery price, with the international leg left visible and optional.
Use your own freight forwarder or ask us for a reference quote
Both routes are normal, and the choice stays with the buyer.
- Your forwarder collects from the port. Importers with an existing logistics partner can keep their negotiated rates, their customs broker and their insurance arrangements. We deliver to the nominated China port and hand over the export packing list, dimensions and weights.
- We provide a reference freight and customs quote. Buyers importing for the first time, or those who want a benchmark, can request a reference option from us. It can then be compared against independent forwarder quotes using the same cargo details.
Either way, the commercial logic stays transparent: one clear product price, one clearly defined delivery point, and one separately quoted logistics decision.
How to compare lighting quotations properly
When two suppliers show very different totals, the difference is usually in the scope behind the number rather than the fixture. Before comparing, confirm these points on both quotations:
- Whether the price is per piece, per set or per carton.
- Whether export packing and palletising are included or charged later.
- Whether delivery to a named port or address is included, and which one.
- Whether international freight, insurance, customs clearance, duty and taxes are included, excluded, or estimated.
- Whether certification documentation is included, and which destination market it covers.
- Whether samples, custom finishes or non-standard sizing are priced separately.
- Whether the warranty term is stated per product, and for how long.
A quotation that answers those seven points can be compared accurately. One that does not is a guess, however attractive the headline number looks. The full process is set out in our Buying Guide.
How certification documentation is arranged
Certification documentation for CE, UL and RoHS can be arranged according to the destination market, product configuration and project requirements. Different markets ask for different documentation, and some distributors specify their own checklist, so the applicable path is confirmed per order rather than assumed for every product.
Share the destination country, the product configuration and any distributor requirement with your enquiry. We confirm the documentation route and any related cost before production. The process is described on our certifications page.
Where this applies across the catalogue
The same pricing structure applies across the catalogue, from crystal chandeliers to hotel and banquet chandeliers. Product pages show the discounted price, the minimum order quantity and the China-port delivery basis, so a project buyer can build a comparable shortlist before requesting logistics options.
For a concrete example of how the price, quantity and delivery basis appear together, see this custom art glass chandelier product page. Delivery timing and handover details are also covered by our shipping policy.
Frequently asked questions
What does the displayed product price include?
The fixture, factory quality control, export-grade packing and delivery to your designated China port. International freight, customs clearance, import duties and local taxes are quoted separately.
Can I use my own freight forwarder?
Yes. Your forwarder can collect from the designated China port and handle the international leg, customs clearance and delivery. You can also ask us for a reference freight and customs quote for comparison.
Why is international freight not bundled into the product price?
Freight, duty and tax depend on route, season, carrier, volume and destination rules. Keeping them separate keeps the product price comparable and leaves the logistics choice with the buyer.
Are certification documents included in the price?
Certification documentation can be arranged per order and destination market. Share the destination and required product specification with your enquiry so the applicable documents and any related cost can be confirmed before production.
Which China ports can you deliver to?
We deliver to the port you nominate in China, including Shenzhen, Shanghai and Ningbo. The port is confirmed in your order so your forwarder can plan collection.
How does this help me compare suppliers?
A separate product and China-port delivery price lets you compare fixture costs and freight options independently, instead of comparing one bundled door-to-door total that cannot be broken down.
If you want the product price, a freight reference and the certification path confirmed together, send the product list, destination port and target market through our contact page.
