Crystal Chandeliers for Hotels, Restaurants and Bars

The short answer: these are faceted crystal chandeliers built for hospitality interiors — drum, cascade and linear formats in K9 crystal or crystal-glass, sized to your ceiling. Most carry a minimum of 1 piece, because each unit is assembled to order rather than held in stock.

What Is the Difference Between K9 Crystal and Crystal Glass?

The grade decides how the fixture reads on a wall, and how it ages. K9 is the workhorse of hospitality crystal; crystal glass is the lighter, more economical option for large runs.

MaterialWhat it isWhere it suits
K9 crystalOptical-grade crystal glass, cut and polished for sharp refractionLobbies, ballrooms, feature pendants — where the sparkle is the point
Crystal glassPressed glass with a crystal-like finish, lower lead contentRestaurants, bars, retail — high-count runs where cost per piece matters
Faceted vs smoothFaceting multiplies internal reflections; smooth shapes read calmerFaceted for statement pieces, smooth for corridors and guest rooms

Both grades are available with brass, chrome or blackened metalwork. If you are specifying across a whole property, keep one grade per visual zone — mixing grades in a single sightline reads as a mismatch rather than a mix.

Which Format for Which Space?

Format follows the room. Use this as a shortlist, then confirm against your ceiling height and sightlines.

SpaceTypical formatRough size guide
Hotel lobbyDrum or tiered cascade, statement scale900–1800 mm diameter
Ballroom / banquetWide drum, or a linear run for long halls1200–2400 mm, or 2–3 units on a run
Restaurant / diningCompact suspension or cluster over tables500–900 mm per cluster
Bar / counterLinear or adjustable-drop pendantSet by the counter length
Corridor / lift lobbyCompact drum or flush mount300–600 mm

Sizing rule of thumb: add the room's length and width in metres, multiply by 8. The result is a diameter in centimetres — a 10 m × 8 m lobby gives 8 × 18 = 144, so roughly 1.4 m. Treat it as a starting point and confirm against the drawing.

Hanging height: keep the lowest point 2.1–2.4 m above the finished floor in circulation areas. Over a dining table the fixture usually sits 750–900 mm above the tabletop.

How Do You Keep Crystal Looking Right?

Crystal is maintenance, and it is worth planning for rather than discovering later. Three things keep a fixture reading as intended over years of service.

  • Specify one grade and one bin per visual zone — mixed lots drift in colour and refracted tone under warm light
  • Plan the cleaning route — hand-strung crystal is cleaned strand by strand; specify strands that can be unhooked where access is hard
  • Keep metalwork finishes consistent — a polished brass frame beside an antique brass one will mismatch under the same 3000K light

For hospitality interiors, most projects specify 2700K in guest-facing rooms and 3000K in public areas, with Ra ≥ 90 and R9 ≥ 50 so warm tones and skin tones read correctly. Our guide to colour temperature for hotel lighting covers how to set the values per space.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you build a crystal chandelier to my dimensions?

Yes — diameter, drop and finish are set to your drawing as standard. Send the drawing or a reference photograph with a tape measure in frame, plus the ceiling height and destination country, and we confirm what is buildable before quoting.

What is the minimum order for a crystal chandelier?

Most sizes in this collection carry a minimum of 1 piece, shown on every product page. Because each unit is assembled to order rather than held in stock, there is no need to buy a batch to start. Volume pricing begins at 5, 20, 50 and 100 pieces through the Trade Program.

How long does production take, and how is it shipped?

Samples ship in 10–15 days. Standard bulk production runs 20–45 days from drawing approval; a fully custom build runs 45–75 days. Prices are quoted FOB China Port and include quality control, export packing and inland freight to the port.

Is the crystal suitable for hotel corridors and guest rooms?

Yes, in the right format — a compact drum or flush mount rather than a large cascade. Our crystal drum chandelier for lobby and corridor is built for exactly that application, matched bin-to-bin across one production run.

How is certification arranged for different markets?

Certification documentation is supplied to your market requirement. Tell us the destination country and the voltage on your drawing, and we will confirm what the route is for that order before production.
