Since 2014, Staylighting has developed into a lighting manufacturer in Guzhen, Zhongshan, with more than 200 skilled staff and five production lines. We have delivered more than 200 hospitality projects across 11 countries. The point of this overview is not to impress with scale; it is to explain how the production process supports dependable lead times, verifiable quality and clear minimum order quantities.
Why factory scale is the real spec sheet
A catalogue tells you what a product looks like. It does not tell you whether the maker can deliver it in a mixed load, hold a finish across 300 pieces, or keep a schedule when every project lands in the same month. Those answers live on the factory floor. Scale, for a lighting buyer, is not vanity — it is capacity you can plan against.
Our factory team coordinates fabrication, finishing, wiring, final assembly, testing and export packing. Materials and selected components are sourced through qualified supplier partners, while each fixture is assembled, tested and packed for shipment through our factory process. When a project specification changes, we review the effect on the agreed product configuration and production plan.
Production capacity is confirmed by product, quantity, finish and project requirements. This allows a buyer to receive an agreed production plan instead of relying on a generic capacity claim.
Location supports efficient coordination. Our factory is in Guzhen, Zhongshan, within China’s established lighting cluster, close to the specialist supply chain for materials and components. When a finish or driver needs to be reviewed, the process can be coordinated locally rather than across long-distance supply routes.
Five production lines, one workshop
The five lines are organised around the families we make best: hotel and banquet chandeliers, Nordic and Scandinavian pendants, vintage and retro pieces, and crystal chandeliers — the same groups you will find in our hotel and banquet chandelier range — from a cream-style acrylic chandelier to the frosted glass ball pendants we build for lobbies and showrooms. Each line carries the full vertical sequence, so a single team owns a fixture from frame to carton.
Three in-house capabilities shape what is possible on those lines. Finishing covers brass, copper, bronze, nickel and chrome. Glass sourcing runs from crystal to opal, ribbed and tinted options, quality-checked on arrival. LED driver integration includes 0-10V, DALI, Tuya and TRIAC control. When a designer asks for a patina that does not exist in the catalogue, the finishing line is where it gets invented.
Which line your order runs on matters less than what every line shares: the same QC discipline, the same inspection points, the same packing standard. A two-piece sample order and a 300-piece hotel project pass through identical gates. That consistency is why a buyer can order from the catalogue, reorder three months later, and expect the same colour, the same weight, the same packaging.
Eight stages between your drawing and your door
Every fixture moves through eight controlled stages. In short:
1–2. Materials in, frames fabricated
Brass, copper, steel, glass and LED drivers are inspected against ISO sampling on arrival. Frames then move through CNC cutting, bending and welding — custom frames follow your CAD file to ±0.5 mm, the tolerance that keeps a 1.5-metre chandelier symmetrical when it hangs.
3–4. Polishing and finishing
Every surface is hand-polished to the finish spec — mirror, satin, antique or patina — then electroplated or powder coated, with a 72-hour salt-spray check on plated parts before they leave the section.
5–6. Wiring and the 100% burn-in
Certified wiring harnesses, thermal-tested drivers and polarity-checked sockets go in, then every single fixture runs a full functional test: voltage stability, dimming response, polarity and insulation. One hundred per cent of units — not a sample of the batch.
7–8. AQL 2.5 inspection and export packing
A pre-shipment inspection at AQL 2.5 follows, with a photo and video report sent to you 48 hours before shipping. Then the fixture is packed for the journey: flight cases or foam-injected cartons, humidity film, corner protectors, palletised. Factory QC, export packing and delivery to your designated China port are included in the price — no invoice surprise later.
What scale means for lead times, samples and MOQ
Our trade programme sets out the purchasing process in plain language: sample and bulk lead times are confirmed by the product, quantity and finish; custom OEM timing follows the approved specification and sample process. Minimum order quantities are set per product, so buyers can review the requirement on the relevant product page before placing an order.
Sample pricing is worth knowing before you ask: a sample is charged at 1.3× the discounted price, and if you place a bulk order within 90 days the sample amount is credited back. Payment follows the order size — T/T with amounts up to USD 5,000 paid upfront, USD 5,000–50,000 on a 50% deposit, larger orders on 30/60/10 terms, with L/C at sight available above USD 50,000.
Certification you can verify
Certification documentation for CE, UL and RoHS can be arranged according to the destination market, product configuration and project requirements. What it means for OEM buyers
For OEM projects, the factory process is part of the product. We review your sketch or specification, develop the agreed configuration, arrange samples where needed, and coordinate production and export packing under the agreed project plan.
